My husband and I (married almost 11 years now) own two Great Danes and two horses. We live on five acres in Southwest Florida in the heart of sugarcane country.

They’re not blindfolded. Those are net fly masks to keep the flies and bugs from bugging the heck out of the horses.

Hey, i love the pic of your danes and your horses. is that one an Appy or A Knabstrupper. I have 2 danes, a solid blue female and a harlequin Female. i also have about 60 head of American Saddlebred Showhorses. who was that moron who thought the horses had on blindfolds? Ever Heard of WeatherBeeta?!?!?!?!

Love the pics! Especially Duchess, she’s GORGEOUS! I currently have no GD’s, but. yeah. Anyways, ASB, Be nice. Some people don’t grow up with horses, or work with them, or interact with animals AT ALL. Thereforse not everyone HAS heard of WeatherBeeta.

  you are so right and thats so true. but i grew up with horses. my horses are like family to me and i love horses. my favourite horse is pharlap. the worlds most greatst horse. every thing in my room has pharlap on it. i just wish i could see him alive. but i cant.
